Allison Brooks Janney is an American actress who was born on the 19th of November, 1959. In the last three decades her performance has received applauds on screen and stage. The actress also received two Tony Awards were nominated. Janney was born in Dayton, Ohio. She was born in and was raised in Boston. When she graduated at Kenyon College, she received an all-inclusive scholarship to The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Janney's first appearance on television was 1999 when she portrayed C. J. Cregg in NBC's political drama The West Wing (from 1999 until 2006). The actress won the role four Primetime Emmy Awards for the part. Janney received an award called the Primetime Emmy Award for 2014 Outstanding Guest actress in the Drama Series following her role in the role of Margaret Scully on the Showtime show Masters of Sex.
